Mycotoxins Detection and Pathogenicity of Fusarium spp. Pathogen of Rice Sheath Rot Disease

Abstract Sheath rot disease is one of the critical problems limiting rice production. Fusarium spp. pathogens that cause sheath and produce various mycotoxins. The study mycotoxins detection using specific primers their association to pathogenicity important in order comprehend types may occur this disease. objectives are investigate potential pathogen-related relation pathogenicity. This included a total 44 isolates from 11 species with five primer pairs biosynthesis encoding gene. test was conducted on Ciherang variety aged eight-weeks after transplanting. Trichodiene synthase gene only amplified certain bubalinum isolates, while fumonisin F. proliferatum isolates. Beauvericin fujikuroi, grosmichelii, tanahbumbuense , pseudocircinatum . hainanense, sulawesiense, andiyazi, sacchari several within solani complex were not all tested. results showed detected for had no severity disease, necrosis area leaf AUDPC. Nonetheless, because have an influence human health, findings can be used enhance pathogen control increase food security sustainable agriculture.
